OK, as I have stated before in my other post on here, I am not the brightest light bulb in the package, but everytime I read something, it just confuses me more. Now I am about 50% sure that I don't know if my motor is a 2 or 4 stroke, thanks to MercuryMarine.com.....LOL. Here is the info. 2003 Mercury 50 HP, ELPTO, Ser# OT640348, Mod# 1050412AD. No, I do not have to mix the gas and oil as they both a seperate tanks. That's what I was going on that if you have to mix, it's a 2 stroke. If you don't have to mix, it's a 4 stroke. Can someone please correct me so I don't bang my head any more.....Too many knots on my head already....LOL....Thanks for your help

What HP is that motor? BTW - late model 2 cycle motors have oil injection. Oil is mixed automatically with the gasoline.

Looks to be 3 cylinder 2 cycle Jet motor. Make sure the oil injection works properly, keep the reservoir full and have fun.
