Dare I say? Look how my comment has been so obviously "deleted". Makes kind of a definitive statement.
I will watch with great interest further developments.

Yeah, Chief, it's gone far enough. I'll unbunch my panties now. And don't you go gettin' all worked up either. No sense in dropping a load of ratzakratza in your pants! (remember, you can say anything as long as you put a smiley face at the end of it)

If you all came away with was my beltway comment, than you missed my entire point.

My point was, just because some people don't enjoy the same topics as others, it doesn't make those topics worthless or a waste of bandwidth.

My example was an attempt to explain why I don't care for political topics. At the risk of stereotyping Idaho (not my intent- Scouts Honor), a farmer might get tired of repeated, prolonged, repetitious debates about various methods for planting potatoes. Is the farmer full of ratzakratza?

Some people enjoy reposting the same old worn out jokes over and over. Good for them and those who enjoy them! I get a little bored with it, but I still drop a smiley now and again.

Likewise, some people enjoy witty quips and repartee. Many people don't. So what? Personally, I enjoy the cultural and historical bons mots of a particular member. The fact that many of the so called political/financial "elite" are unable to follow along is irrelevant. I think it's hysterical that many of these experts have no clue when one of these gems is dropped in.

Let's just let everybody talk about what they want (within the rules established by iboats).

Oh yeah... here's that smiley :D ;) :) :p

Froggy, this is a place to come and relax. I was just dishing out to you what to do to everybody else that posts in DC. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, just passing on some of your own type wit. Chief ;)
