I have a 10hp Envinrude and a 2 blade and a 3 blade prop for it. I can see that the pitch is different. The motor is on a 16ft. Starcraft Seafarer fishing boat and I've had problems with cavitation with the 3 blade prop. Would the 2 blade prop reduce cavitation?

First of all we need to clarify terms.Technically cavitation is when the water boils in a low pressure area of a prop sometimes leaving scars. You don't usually feel cavitation. What you feel is ventilation when the prop becomes air bound and loses the grip on the water. Are you sure its venting? It could be a spun hub.
If the prop is in good shape and not a spun hub it isn't likely to vent unless the transom is too tall or something is disturbing the water near the prop.
You can check the hub by putting a water proof line across the hub and test run to the point of "ventilation" then check the line.It will be broken if a spun hub.
The 2 blade isn't likely to solve true venting problems but any prop change could
depending on the prop design. You could also measure the transom from the point where the motor rests to the keel.Measure vertically not along the angle of the transom.Should be about 15", if for the motor in your avitar.
