Scudda,

That looks great. All of the wiring and steering made it up thru the chase OK? Looks like you should be going for a ride shortly if you havent already....plenty of fish out there a-waitin! Love that mooring bit, I do like those on boats.

Thanks Hermit! Yeah, the sampson post was the idea of the guy who did the work with me, I love it. Best thing was it is used, so I paid nothing for it.

I was surprised at how easy everything went up through the pipe. I just ran the new 3/8 inch fuel hose through it, (taking a corona break) first time I had to do some work to get anything through. I still need to run my transducer wire through, and that will be difficult because it is so small. In hindsight, a good idea is to keep a piece of string constantly in it until you are through.

Doing all of it by myself now, so not as fast as I would like, but should be soon! Hopefully in time for the big stripers to come back.......

Yep, you can make things a lot easier by pulling a new string in with each line you pull into a pipe or chase. You could use a steel or fiberglass fish tape which will push through those pipes no prob. Home improvement stores have steel ones and the Gardner Bender ones are probably only ten or twelve bucks, handy for lots of things too. You don't need a 250' Greenlee one for home projects and the like.

I like that boat, clean and open, she's looking good.

WOW!! what a great looking job, I have a 1991 ProLine 19 that I really like.. but I envy your boats extra rod storage in the sides and no annoying boxes on the transom. I lose alot of space. This is my 2nd season with the Proline and am activly making notes on what I want to chop up either this winter or next.Tackle and rod storage is second on the list behind an electrical rewire job..keep up the good work and I'll be sure to fopllow the progress...
Seb

Easy way to get string through again CHEAP is a vacuum cleaner!
Lay out the length you need and tape the end down then put the string into the hole and on the other put the vacuum. Works most of the time.

I keep a run of 550 cord in my tube at all times. It is tied off on both ends, and a bit over twice as long as the tube. This way I can tie off on one end and just pull it through with the 550 cord and be done with it.

Boat looks real sweet by the way....

Wow, good tips guys, and thanks for the comments.

Sebicon, one of the best things we did was build a battery box below the deck, between the seats. I don't have it rigged that way yet, funds for the new battery cable, ouch! But that clears things up allot. I'll post some pics of it for you tonight.

Take care

Scuda,
Lookin good! With the boat done you can jump forums and fix up that motor! Those lower units are all over the place you should be able to solve that one. Love the boat!
TH
