20 hp Johnson Seahorse

I have around a 1970 to 73 Johnson 20 hp Seahorse. The model and serial plate is missing from the motor. I found a serial number on the piston area of the motor. Is there anyway to find out what model I have?

some times the welch plug [freeze plug] on the power head will have the model # stamped on it.
