20 hp merc v/s 85 hp merc

does anyone know if parts like a stator from a 20 hp will fit on a 85 hp?

In my efforts to find an outboard for parts I'm using the exploded views and part numbers from; http://www.usboatsupply.com/Mercury_Mercruiser_Parts_Catalog3a.php?mc=01

You'll need to know the year and model and look both of them up, then compare the part numbers.

At least that's my system. and asking questions here.

Short answer, no.
