200 efi crankshaft

My 200 efi crankshaft has a small spot that is blued on one of the main bearing journals. Blued area is approximately 1" by 3/16" on the radius on the upper edge of the bearing surface. Is this crank usable?

what does your machinist say?

does the crank mic out?

bluing is generally bad. usually followed by damage to the machined surface.

You're right of course. I was hoping for an easy "it will be fine" answer. I'll take it to a machinist I know.
