I have a 89 200hp that is not getting spark to the plug on the bottom cylinder . I tried switching a coil that know is good and still no spark. I switched the wire coming from the power pack to another coil and then that spark plug would not spark. Would that mean that its the power pack? Could it be the stator? The motor will start and idle but when you give it throttle it will either die out or you have to go to WOT three or four times then it will take off. I am puzzled I don't have the money to take it somewhere so hopefully I can fix it myself.

ohhh yeah forgot to mention that now its like my fuel pump is not working. I have to keep pumpin the primer ball to keep it running, it has the vro pump and I have heard that on of the cylinders pumps air to the vro pump. Is this true about one of the cylinders pumping air to the pump. If it is then that could be the reason its not pumping fuel.

ok did a compression check and all the cylinders had the same reading of 90-92psi. Seems kind of low but they are all the same so I guess that they are good.
