2001, 200 hpdi, z200txrz. 468 total engine hours. I know this has been covered but I have searched all archives and can't find what I'm looking for. My temp icon has a bar flashing above it on yam digital gauge but it has done that ever since I purchased boat and ran fine for 20-25 trips last year. I thought that was normal. Checked all 3 fuel pressures and all is good. The buzzer at the key had failed so I could never hear it. The boat seems to be in rpm safe mode, won't go above 2k rpm and cuts cylinders out when it does. I had a mobile marine tech hook scan tool up, no codes and all data looks normal. What items can cause a constant buzzer? I've read on this forum only oil level and over temp, yam service line tells me trim to high can as well, others have said water in fuel (I've checked that too). So what I'm looking for is a real list of ALL items that can turn on the "buzzer of death" so I can proceed with a systematic approach with an ohm meter to determine the ONE item that is causing it to stay on. I'm sure then my buzzer will stop and it will be fine. Please help, thanks in advance. It seems a gentleman named rodbolt is a very experienced tech with these engines.
