Lost top end, Idles fine. Trolls along fine.
Looked at 1 plug thus far, rather oiled up. So were changing those out. Thanks for the scoop about comparing the look of them for the lean issue. Will check the Vent. seemed to be fuel smelly after last tank up. The pumper thing did seem hard last time. So that is also suspect.
Plugs,Pump,Vent,Fuel filter.
Anybody know if the fuel filter is boat specfic or motor specfic?
Anything else i am missing?
I will let you know what i find.

What was really strange we went from a 20 SS raker, tried a 19 and we got less speed/less rpms but that could be due to its running poorly not the prop.

You might also want to check the spark to each cylinder. You could have lost one. On the bigger engines, it's hard to tell sometimes when your running. The only indication being a loss of rpm. Each cylinder spark should jump a 1/2" gap with a hot blue white spark.

Not sure what you mean by boat specific or motor specific on the fuel filter....but if it's going to the motor or on the motor, check it.

We got lucky.. It seems to have been the fuel filter. Looked really really old. Took it out and appears to be back to normal.
Filters seem to be motor specfic, it's the canister style mounted in boat not on the motor.

Next question. Sorry :(
I know that recommended RPM is around 5500 for a 200 HP Ocean Pro.
We tried a 22 p Raker Very nice match for motor and boat ride. Granted the water and wind were very high last night. We were only getting about 5100 RPM tops. Worried that may be to low and lugging the motor.
Next put a 19 SS 5300 RPM same speed lousy ride.
I had never realized what a difference ride factor you get from props.
The 19 we were chine walking jumping tossing around. With the 22 Raker Smooth as silk in HEAVY water conditions.
Is it due to the Bow Lift? and the moving more water? Sorry if a stupid questions.
Thanks folks.

Actually its far from a stupid question.

Rakers have a lot of lift and good bite. I might be tempted to stick with the 22 Raker and raise the motor to gain rpm. Your target is 5800 with an average load. A lot depends on your defined use as to which prop you like best.

What you found going from the 20 Raker to the 19" is not suprising. The Raker having more lift will reduce the drag (more hull out of the water) and therefore give more speed.

The bummer with the 22 raker, we ran out of trim. But when we kept on playing. When we lowered the speed some, we were able to trim more. That I really did not understand. Trim limit at WOT?
I am not real comfortable running at 4800-4900-5k when we should be at the 5800 mark.
Will have to get the other worse 1/2 on the same page. Thats always fun!
Oh by the way... I love this place.. A heart felt thanks for everybody's assistance and patience!!

Ok Help needed again.
Checked all the fuel items out. All good to go.
Here is what the boat is doing.
Seems a little doggy out of hole. But not bad. Runs totally normal at WOT then hits a massive stutter once again we can troll along at trolling pace and motor runs fine.
We are wondering if its the CD box? Perhaps when it gets to higher temp?
We had the 22 Raker running hard. It died 1/2 way across lake before stutter. Then switched out to a 20 raker Ran 100% of same distance before stutter?

Well it was fuel related. Poured few bottles of Seafoam and Heat into fuel tanks... Runs like a champ.. Darn boats.
