I searched the stickeys and found plenty of should or should not advice on oil injection removal .
My question is not if I should or should not.
My question is Has anyone done it on the 2000 125 hp elpto and did you block it or remove completly ?
I know there is a bushing that needs to be carried by a block off stem of some sort.
I would like to delete the whole deal, nylon gear, tank, pump. Does anyone know how or done it and where would you get an aftermarket kit to do this ?
Thanks for any help.

Why remove it?
I have a 2002 Merc and I think the oil injection is greatest things they ever came up with
Saves time and money
No mess adding oil to my gas
It also mixes the ratio of oil and gas, so you use a lot less oil
If it's working, I'd keep it
If isn't working, I'd fix it and keep the system

Re: 2000 125 hp (Oil injection delete Question)

I dont need a system that tells me when the oil tank is low, I know how to check and keep track of that ! I want a fail safe system for when the gear takes a dump or the pump quits. When these things happen a beeper telling you your tank is low is not going to help a motor that is seized up.
Like I said my question was not if I wanted to do it or not, but what is the best way to do it. I don't do a lot of idle running so the idle mix of 80:1 is no issue. I use my trolling motor for trolling.
Thank you just the same
