2000 175 Evinrude FICHT

I have purchased a 1987 20 grady white overnighter with a 1998 175 Evinrude FICHT outboard that has been replaced with a 2000 power head. Anybody have any recomendations on this motor. The motor has 159 hours on it and runs great so far. Is there nay body that has this kind of motor and can tell me what to look out for in the future.

HI all

I Just bought a 19 feet boat with a 2000 175 Evinrude FICHT when i took the boat for servicing and my mechanic found the ECU faulty (Injector no 3 not working) and we bought a new one. Anyone knows where can i send my old ECU for repairing? Thanks to every one

As far as your question,not sure of anyone that repairs the ECU...
Maybe look for a used one.

I got my ECU upgraded at DFI and am very pleased so far. They were very professional and quick.
