I only use this boat in lake michigan for trollinig. Last week engine died and had no power and got towed in. I am guessing its stator or voltage regulators. The stator is putting out 18vac and 21vac at idle. I am a bit confused on testing the volt/regs wether to test with running or not and what settings to use on meter and what reading should be. battery now is at 12.6 and went to 13.1 when engine is running. Seems low to me and I'm thinking vot/regs. any guidance on testing is appreicated.
