need to find out how to get water out of pontoons???? there looks like to be a fitting in the middle of the top of each pontoon , is there a certain fitting that has to be used to put air back in or is it sometype of pressurized gas. have two seams that cracked and need repair. any suggestions

There is no pressurized gas-just air. Look toward the back of the pontoons down low. There should be a drain plug also.

Are you sure there is water in them?

If there is no drain, you may have to create one. Something best left to a welding shop.

If I were to want to create a drain in the pontoon without using a weld shop, can anyone give me ideas on how to do this?

Just drill a hole down as low as possible on the BACK of the pontoon-NOT on the bottom. You can probably seal the hole well enough with a self tapping pipe plug and som 3M 5200 sealant.

This is an awfully new boat to have water in the toons!

some welding work was done on the back and excessive heat altered the metal properties thus new cracks. is there a special fitting that has to be ussed for the air pressure port?
