2000 50hp mercury oil injection question

i have a 2000 50hp mercury. after sitting for days the carbs fill with oil. i was thinking maybe a vent or check valve problem. in the diagram the only part i see is a vent/check on top of the oil tank. could this be the problem?

It sounds like the vent (check valve) in the cap is building up pressure.

Where do you have the wiring diagrams for that engine?
