I have had this issue for 3 seasons now. Its had a carb rebuild 2 seasons ago. Last week I did all the annual maintenance and noticed that the gasket on my bottom carb which was rebuilt, was not sticking out the side like the other 2 but flush with the carb edge. After running it the other day I noticed there was a small amount of fuel on that gasket which is flush. The motor once started if shifted quickly into gear works fine most times. I get about 5000 RPM at WOT and runs like a champ otherwise. Just difficult to start and continue to run at idle without dying. Its idling at about 850 RPM and then slowly decreases and sputters out. Gas and fuel lines were checked and all good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
