how can you test to make sure the oil injection is working properly.. it is a 2 stroke..I just bought the boat and would like to make sure before I run it..

Add the appropriate amount of oil to the fuel tank to give 50:1.
Put a mark on the oil tank at the current oil level. Run motor at speed for several hours and note new oil level, then refill to mark with a known oil quantity and see if it's reasonable for the running time/fuel used.
