2000 larson volvo penta 4.3l sx starter/ignition diagram, NEEDED!!!

Does anybody know where I can find the service manual or wiring diagram for this boat? I am still having issues with my fuel/ignition. I think the previous owner installed the wrong starter. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well apparently the previous owner had installed a starter from autozone. The problem is my alarm will not shut off unless I unplug the oil switch and my fuel pump will sometimes shut off. The oil pressure is fine between 40 psi idle and 80 psi at 4200 rpms. So I replaced the oil switch with no change. So as I was investigating I noticed that a purple wire next to the starter was not hooked up. So I thought maybe he forgot to hook it up not knowing he had bought a starter from autozone. Everytime I tried to hook it up the starter would either not shut off or it would blow my 20 amp fuse. So I got online and figured that someone would have a wiring diagram. After further looking at starters I noticed there are 2 side prongs on the solenoid. So I am assuming that the yellow/red wire goes on one side and the purple wire connects to the other.

ok just double checking on the ef. So who would have known that the purple wire on the starter is tied into the oil pressure switch for the alarm. Wow learn something new today. Thanks Don I really appreciate your help. I think it was kinda stupid for the previous owner to put a autozone starter in when you can purchase the correct aftermarket starter for $20 more. I'm just luckly it did not blow up.

It's not supposed to be.????????

The purple wire is the positive side on alarm and t/sb is the negitive side on the alarm.

That's correct, but they aren't tied together as in a butt connector between the purple and the switch, which they aren't.
