I'm kinda thinking about buying this boat? It's got a 4.3 Mercruiser with 105 hours on her and in pretty nice shape, just a few dings here and there...The sea trial went well with no problems other then grinding gears when put into forward, they said it just needs a shifting cable adjustment?? anyone??

Selling price is $9,995, does that seem in line? It can be seen at www.quamsmotorsports.com Click pre owned inventory. Oh, and it's purple and white? I'm not so sure about that? Everyone on the lakes will know me ha ha.

What does anyone know about Mariah boats? Any good? Thanks.

Oh, and one other question, do you think I can pull this boat easily with a Toyota 4runner? V6?

I can't say enough good things about my 1998 182 Shabah, they are very well constructed boats, and for an 18', it rides like a cadillac in the chop. $9,995 would be pretty high around here.. I bought my boat from my father recently for a steal, but he bought it in 2000 from the original owner for $9,000 with the matching prestige trailer, both were in like new condition with only 50 hours of use.

I do have to add though that I like the flooring and seating layout in that one alot more than mine! I've got only a driver bucket, on the passenger side I have a back to back and then I only have two rear seats with the engine cover inbetween them.

I don't think you'd have any issues pulling it, and these prestige trailers with the torsion axle tow very nice. :D When I bought my boat from my father he joked that the trailer was probably worth as much as the boat.

Yes it does have the matching Prestige trailer...in Purple...it looks nice as well and seems like a great trailer.

I also thought the upholstery was of high quality, heavy vinyl and double stitched..the cushions felt heavy but not waterlogged.

In my owners manual it states that the upholstery had a lifetime repair or replacement warranty, as well as the hull.. not that it matters now though since the original Mariah went under in 2001.
