Where is it-thought it was in rear but believe that area was only an outlet for flushing the motor. I have been told that if the poppet valve is bad there will be leakage around it. Is this true? ? Only leakage I have is around flush inlet to motor. I do have some heating issues (200 f) when going fast but heat warning alarm has never come on.

On the block, low on the starboard side. 2 or 4 bolts, may or may not have a hose on it. (there's several different versions.)

Get a book (OEM engine manual) and look in it. It has pictures.

hope it helps

Thanks for your help John. I believe I found it and it does have a hose connecting to hoses which I am sure carry water. I was surprised that my repair kit does not have a gasket but the rubber diaphram has a ridge on it which may take the place of a gasket. Thanks again. Bayfun
