The motor has run like a top for me for many years, always taken good care of it and stored it inside on a mount in the winter. Last summer I replaced the drive shaft after it snapped in half during a long ride and I thought we were through the weeds because the rest of the summer it was fine. When I started it up for the first time this year she ran great for about 20 minutes until I stopped to fish, then when I started her again the noise started happening. Whatever it is limits power output to the point that it takes about 5x as long to plane then normal and the sound never stops. What the hell is loose in there?
