How can I get the gauge panel off dose the steering wheel have to come off I have look for a you tube on this four 4 hours please help

please help I have try to fine a you tube video on this but they don't show how any where my wife's brother look at the because I could make it he said the fuel gauge jump alot and the voltage gauge was staying at 14 volts but I told her for $3800 buy it

Do I have to take the steering wheel off to take the dash off

Yes the steering hub is thru the dash

Remove the black center cap, there should be a nut holding the wheel to the steering shaft

Be nice if they made a pulier for a boat steering wheel it is holding up a lot stuff any Ideas

You can try putting the nut on a few turns,don't let the shaft protrude thru the nut, and while someone pulls on the wheel tap gently with a small hammer.
penetrating oil might help.

Thanks that worked Now does any one have an any pictures of the back of a 2000 or close to a console of a sea pro 17CC ? I got this boat because it was in great cosmetic shape and the motor runs good
