I just bout this boat, and i am having a problem locating the fish box pump. I have a livewell washdown pump that works, but a switch for the fish box pump does not work. Are these pumps the same? Will the raw water washdown pump work the bait well? Is the fishbox the same as the bait well? How do you use the raw water washdown? Is there some where to hook up a hose? Thanks for your help

see if you can find an owner's manual, or look for someone with a boat like yours. It all depends on how it's rigged.

If there is raw-water wash down there willl be a hose fitting usually in the stern corner of the cockpit.

The pump attached to the through-hull--you see it in a hatch in the stern--may have a T hose on it, one to feed the wash-down and the other to the live well. One switch operates each b/cit's' one shared pump.

I've never heard of a 'fish box pump." Is there a hose fitting in a fish box? If so, that's your raw water too.

Likewise, "live well wash down" is new to me. Do you mean the filler for the livewell? Or is there a filler and a hose fitting in there?

not sure how many questions you have there but it seems like alot:D. The only thing I can comment on is the "fish box pump" On my boat, Wellcraft installed a bilge pump in the fish box in the floor. There is a drain in the bottom of the box that allows the water to drain to the blige and they also installed a regular switch operated bilge pump which was plumbed out to a through hull fitting in the port side up high next to the discharge for the regular bilge pump. The only reason I can reason they did this was that if you installed a plug in your bottom drain and didnt want to dump your nasty fishy ice water to your bilge you could empty the box via the bilge pump. Alot of people use their box for storage rather than fish so if the pump crapped out its possible the previous owner removed it and didnt replace it. I would guess you would still see some wires in there from where it was if you cant seem to locate it.

As far as the other stuff some picture might help.

I have a 1998 190CCF Wellcraft. My raw water pump also fills my bait box. There's a T valve just under the console right behind where the was hose comes through the console. I have to turn the valve to send it to the hose or bait box.

Unscrew the access panel for your bildge directly forward of your engine to acess bildge area. It should be mounted near the bildge pump, follow the through hull fitting also located in the rear bildge area. You have to be very flexible to mount a new one there, getting the old one out if needed is a task in itself. I mounted the replacement on the ledge inside rear seat hatch, aft of the battery and oil resevoir. all hoses will reach this area and give you better access. Perhaps placing in the opposite seat hatch area would give even better access? Good luck!
