Re: 2000 year, C3500 Chevrolet Dually with 7.4 liter engine, Transmission question?
//////UPDATE/////
Hello everyone. This past Sunday I went ahead and put in a brand new valve body with all the new solenoids and the transmission filter and gasket, a complete valve body kit on my truck because it would kick out of fourth gear after the transmission has warmed up a bit and then shift to third gear until I stopped and power cycled the ignition switch. So so far it is working fine but haven't driven it too far yet to really know if the brand new valve body with all new solenoids fixed my issue. I replaced the valve body myself and it was not hard at all to do. I was worried about the 8 check balls moving around on me but they didn't and the intermediate servo didn't give me to much of a hard time either. So far my truck shifts nicely and smoothly in all forward gears, reverse, neutral and park. So time will tell if the tranny is fixed or not.
