Hey guys, I got twin 2001 200 HP Optimax's. The temp on both engines while running in the summer(Ocean temp around 70-80 degrees)is usually around 115-120. Now while running it this winter, the ocean temp is around 40 degrees, and one engine is running at around 90 degrees, and the other is running at 120. I hadn't noticed this difference before. Is there a problem with the engine running 120, and if so, what could it be? By the way, the water pump outlets are shooting water out with the same force as usual.

Thanks in Advance
Dirk

Assuming your temp gauges are accurate, maybe your thermostats in the colder motor are bad?

Since you use it in salt water, a good desalting and new t-stats will likely cure your problem...
