2001 200hp opti idle problem

i have a 2001 200hp. opti i ran for the first time in the water this year and after running it for awhile and put it in nutral it whould idle hi and shifting would be hard it will idle at 900 rpm but if i shut down and restarted it will idle fine what bad plugs maybe new motor to me thanks for the help

Battery voltage is really critical to these engines.Merc is now telling us that we should use cells with 750 MCA or better for these units
