2001 225 evinrude ficht ram is this a good motor?

I am looking at a nice boat with a 225 2001 ficht...........146 hours on the motor , is this a good motor or should I beware? Please give me your opinions, I am a new boater and want to enjoy my boat this summer....Thanks

Use the search function and type in your motor year, HP, and FICHT. You might find enough info to change your mind.

i have a e225fpxsi 950 hr no trouble at all.

I have a 2001 60deg.block Ficht Ram with 928hrs.<br />Don't get Ficht confused with FIcht Ram (Ram has compensated injectors and Ficht inj. doesn't.,among other changes)
