2001 50hp Mercury 2stroke ELHPTO trim issue

Hello, newbie here to the forum and really hope someone can help me out. I have a 2001 50hp Mercury 2 stroke ELHPTO that only clicks when either button is pushed for the tilt/trim. I have replaced both relays, the starter solenoid and rectifier. The trim motor works normal if hooked directly to power but when connected inline, I can only get clicks both up and down. Any help would be great!!!

Is it the same on the engine switch locally ?

Problem solved! I somehow had the hot wire of the T/T on the ground post of the solenoid. I switched them around and magically it works as it should!
