Ayuh,.... Got a serial number, so's Don or 1 of the other guys will know Exactly what yer lookin' at...

Generally speakin', there's a drain plug on each side of the block, down low, 'bout center...
There's usually a couple more, just above those on the bottom of the Exhaust manifolds...
There's sometimes drains in the fuel system, P/S system, 'n ya may have a motor mounted raw water pump...
Ya also should pull the Big hose off the circulatin' water pump, as it hides another quart or so...

Here is from the OEM 6.2L suppliment to Manual 24. Assuming it's raw water cooled and is a 2001 and not a 2002 (Yes, it's possible). SN will confirm.

What is not clear on the draining procedure?

Ser # OM 121903

Glad I asked it seems that I got all the plugs but did not get the seawater inlet pipe
I will get it
I was a little confussed that my manual stated "Remove drain plugs from following locations if installed"
I was not clear what they meant and just how many plugs should be there (first time)
I work in aviation and when ever we do maintenance on aircraft we always have someone double check our work
this sight is my way of having someone check my work

That's the serial number for your outdrive, not the engine.

Ok, that works. Can't tell you exactly what year it is, but it's based on the 98 model, so the information I gave you is correct and from the correct manual.
