i have a 2001 mercury 75hp elpto i purchased used and its never ran to full output it will only run to 4000 rpms.
but every once and a while will run 5200 but only for a short while.
like a loose wire making contact and then not.
ive been through the entire fuel system and replaced the stator and trigger and am down to the cdm modules now one thing I see that is not how the wiring diagrams show is the cdm are in this order purple trigger top cyl cdm brown wire trigger middle cyl cdm and white wire to bottome cyl cdm now all the wiring diagrams show the white wire trigger connector going to number two or the middle cyl am i missing something?
