I bought a boat with a 2001 Mercury 90 HP 4 stroke. Model number 1F90412YN. My trim up solenoid is sticking and has to be taped on to make it work. It is a 804282T relay. My jaw dropped at the $118 price tag. I have had no luck finding a reasonably priced aftermarket replacement. Has anyone retrofitted a $15 automotive type solenoid to replace this overpriced solenoid?
