2001 Alpha 1 drive trims down but not back up

As the title says, the outdrive is not trimming back up.

When I pushed in the "up" button on the shifter handle I would get nothing. If I pushed in the "trailer button" I would hear a click. When I pushed in the "down" button the unit would go down.

I figured it was the trim sensor, so I disconnected the sensor and hard wired it. Now when I hit the "up" button I heard a click. When I pushed in the "trailer" button I hear a click. When I pushed in the "down" button the unit goes down.

How can I trouble shoot from here???

Also, is it possible to short out something to raise the out drive back up???

how about a relay or solenoid down there to check for voltage on. to make sure switch is sending current to the pump? bet ya one of these guys has a short cut to the wiring diagram,

Wiring diagram would be really helpful.

Just looking at it, I can see a green wire and a blue wire and a common going to the pump. I am guessing that if you apply 12 volts to one color vs common that the pump goes up and the other color makes the pump go down. It is difficult to get the multimeter leads on the bottom part of the solenoid.
