Its new to me so don't have much background other than it did sit for 6 months prior to my purchase. It did have a fuel stabilizer.
Its starts easily but the RPM's are low while in the water(550-600ish). I was putting it in the water for the first time yesterday it it would stall every time. I loaded back up and thought maybe she could some tweaking. I don't have a have an OEM Service manual yet and don't want to get anything out of whack trying to mess the idle adjustments until I get more familiar with it. Can someone chime in and tell what to to look for before considering carb rebuilds?

I put a new inline fuel filter in and went ahead and broke the carbs down today and cleaned everything up. Carb #2 had a little junk in it so I'm hoping that was the culprit. I'm getting a steady 1100 rpm in the driveway with the water muffs so that might put my in water RPM just right.. I'll take it to the lake after work tomorrow to put it in the water and see how it goes.

675 +/- 50 is the manual recommendation...fast enough to start and stay online but slow enough to allow shifting (fast deliberate shift lever movement) with clunking.

Just an update...It was a simple carb cleaning and fuel filter replacement that solved it. She idles at 750 while in the water and shifts without stalling.
