The cooling system hasn't changed, same pump, thermostats, and plumbing. Some 3.0L 2000 models had some temperature issues, but not the 3.3L in '01. For 2002, Bombardier tightened up tolerances and improved quality control. The V6's got a beefier gearcase and a different type of oil pressure alarm and the system has a higher pressure oil return regulator.

saddy,

I feel your pain. However, Bombardier bought out a bankrupt company. They ARE NOT required, in any way, to honor the warranties (new or after warranty adjustment policies) of the company assets they just purchased. They purchased parts, facilities and technolgy-much of all those they scrapped. They in no way purchased liabilities. Plus, you bought it used. That changes everything.

Bombardier went out of its way to do what they could to help people. Even though
they were in NO WAY responsible for the foibles of the bankrupt OMC.

I'm truly sorry about your misfortune. But, do not malign a company that has no responsibility in this matter.
