Do you have digtal dash speedo , can't remember cross over year, if so check wire hasn't dropped off speed sensor , cruise connector or just a bad ground
Out under the hood you will see where speedo cable comes out of firewall and goes into controller check ground and wires at controller if ok check vaccum lines leaving from there to blub {can] for leaks also make sure wire hasn't come off at brake switch inside vehicle
