2001 Horizon 190

Hello all. I new to the site and to boating. I just purchased my firts boat. 01 Horizon 190 with Volvo/Penta 5.0 SX. Does anone know any issues with this boat? I did research before I bought it and Four Winns is one of the top boat makers, is this correct? Also, you guys got any new boaters advice for me?<br /><br />

I am truly sorry.. Did not relize that that name stayed there..Was a joke..Thought I deleted it. But I have tried to change it, but can't seem to..Any ideas?

look like a graet boat. i lkie the fact that the bimini stands up, you dont find those on the older boats. have you got it out yet? looks fast. nice pic.

Boat looks good, if it has the original carisle tires I would be replacing them asap. I have nearly the same boat and trailer and in the 3rd summer a tire blew up and did some damage to my trailer. Otherwise good choice they are very nice boats.

Am in the process of pruchasing a four winns.<br />What I like best; they make outboard bow riders<br />What I like least; they didn't make that many.<br />Looks like you got a nice fresh water boat.

I am also looking into trading for a 2000 190 Horizon. The boat is in great shape and the price is reasonable. My only concern is that the 4.3L Volvo (190 hp with SS prop) isn't going to have enough power to pull a skiier with a couple adult friends on the boat. The dealer says it will pull much better than my 3.0L, but the FW is also a lot heavier than my 17' Sea Ray. Anyone have a similar setup?
