2001 johnson 250

quick question i just got this motor and was running it with the cover off and i noticed a pisser (i dont know the real name) on the engine inside the cover twords the back. and watched it it was filling up the lower part of the engine . is this suupposed too???????? The other one on the leg was working too i just didnt know y two of them was the upper one too cool the engine off

Normally there is only one tell-tale, could it be a hose for a water pressure guage?

i dont know but it looks just like the one on the leg and a good stream of water comes out of it maybe i shouldnt run it tilll i find out what it is

its not a hose its a litte black thing with a hole on the bottom that shoots water downward
