Anyone tried and/or have faith in this product http://www.westmarine.com/1/3/starbrite-ez-to-store-ez-to-start-additive-stabilizer ? The updated procedure by Merc calls for some crazy concoction mixed in an outboard tank hooked up to the fuel lines for fogging the engine. I know I'll get some response about doing it by the book, but this just seems over the top to me. I know one shop here that uses it exclusively and others that still use fogging spray.
I've read that the fogging spray on an EFI will eventually damage the knock sensor, etc. The procedures for running AF through the engine via the flush kits seems to have become a widely accepted practice, so not something like this eventually becoming accepted practice? I may double the suggested dosage (or slightly less) to be a little safer.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but everytime time I enter a keyword to search the forum on it tells me no results found. So I apologize for the duplicate post if it's already been asked. I would think oil and fog were difficult words to search on.
