2002 115hp johnson

Motor backfires and stalls when increasing throttle. The only way I can get it to go without stalling is to constantly push the primer solenoid at the key. Motor stalls at lower speeds.
Changed spark plugs
Changed all fuel lines and filters
Rebuilt all carbs
Changed fuel pump
New gas
Getting very expensive, after all repairs the motor still has same symptoms.

Lets start with the basics on this one...
1. Model # from engin clamp (will probably say j115....)
2. Compression test (if it is a 4 stroke perform test with throttle wide open)
3. Open airgap spark test
4. Fuel sample
