2002 175 Magnum

I just bought a used 175 Magnum, and I've been trying to get the livewells to work but no success. I opened the valves in both livewells and run the pumps but neither one will fill up. Any suggestions?

Start by checking the intake screen and make sure it's clear, then check if the motor is turning on and remember you need to turn on the main switch for anything to work...I just learned this myself as a new trophy owner.

Each of the sprayer nozzles inside the livewell are adjustable. They are probably turned fully clockwise which closes them. Try opening them up.

Thanks for the replies. I removed the intake screen and found that the previous owner had placed a patch of electrical tape over the opening.

I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I would assume that this was my only problem.
