I have a 2002 9.9 4 stroke Mercury bigfoot sailpower on my 26 foot sail boat. The motor<br />came with a 10 x 9 3/8 prop.<br />The motor was bought new in a box and has not seen a dealer. It runs great except<br />when I advance the throttle control on my boat the motor responds great up to 3/4 <br />throttle then from there to full throttle I see, hear or feel nothing from the motor. I checked<br />the linkage both at my control and the motor and all looks ok. The linkage on the motor <br />is at 3/4 when my control is at 3/4 and moves to full open as it should, just nothing happens.<br />I get no bogging down no misfires NOTHING for the last 1/4 throttle. <br /><br />Any suggestion would be helpful.<br /><br />Thanks in advance
