Is there any proper way to secure the anchor from the pulpit on this boat? The chain and rope go thru the Windline recepticle but there is no way to secure or place the anchor firmly in position short of a bungi cord wrapped around it. It will "flop" in the breeze or rough water. Thanks!

Is there no cleat around the anchor area? Take a couple of pictures to show the set up. You'll get some better responses.

My bow pulpit has a U shaped stainless clip with a stainless pin that slips through the eye of the anchor that is bolted thru the pulpit with two 5/16 stainless bolts. I'm not seeing one here at the Iboat store however.

What you need is an "anchor roller" or fairlead. Kind of like this one...

Rode goes down the "deckpipe" into the anchor locker, use a chain tensioner like this...

...to snug up the chain and anchor...

BTW, you may want to check these guys out...Classic Aquasport. We don't mind newer Aquasports, I only built them from '94-'00...:)

Exactly! That's what mine has. (I know my original description sucks...)
