2002 Evinrude 225 FICHT Ram

Hey guys, I am looking at a pair or 2002 evinrude ficht ram engines and would appreciate your input. I know all about the OMC / Bomb. swap over, and the problems OMC had. My question is this; Were the bugs worked out of the 225's in 02? Have any new problems come to light with them? Good, bad, or otherwise, I'd like your opinions.

Inherently good motors compared to late 90's version. Only as good as the last owner's diligence on maintenance. Ficht purchases I recommend a qualified tech to run history and do a full inspection.<br />Good luck
