We bought a 2002 21' Wellcraft Sportfisher and a Johnson 150 on it in January and haven't been able to run it yet due to some mystery problem with the check engine light.

The problem happens intermittantly. The mechanic says he has it fixed, we tow it home, launch it, and the problem reappears.

It seems like its not getting enough fuel or something is getting caught in the line. We tried hooking it up to another fuel tank and the problem was still there.

We've brought it back to where we bought it at least 4 seperate times (2 1/2 hours away).

So far, the sensor was replaced, the fuel pump was replaced, the fuel line was checked, the vacumn was checked and who know what else but it has stumped the mechanics and we are about ready to loose it. Unfortunatley, Texas' Lemon Laws don't include boats.

Any ideas what the problem is and if it can be fixed? If not, is there any legal action we can take, the boat has more freeway hours than water hours at this point?
