Just bought a Fisher Freedom 240 with this motor on it. It had been sitting up under a dock for two years and had algae and barnacles on it. Got that cleaned off the outside Owner said it was slow, which it was. When I test drove it, cranked right up and purred like a kitten. Reversed ot and went in drive VERY SLOW. I have cleaned gas out and put new in, changed spark plugs (which have a small spark), and cleaned . I ran compression test and it hit 80-90. I'm about to change fuel filter. Is it starving for fuel? I'm a mechanic but not much experience in boats. Girlfriend wants to get on the water this weekend. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks
