I have this outboard which is analog gauges and I think it would be bad bass to have a check engine light (tho hope its never on) to tell me if I have a problem.. it has the buzzer could I wire the light into the buzzer? So say it over heats the buzzer will go off and so will the light.. if this will work I want to know what kind of sensors it has that would make the buzzer go off thus sending a check engine light. Temp? Low oil? Low water pressure? Also since this is not EFI it does not have a fuel water separator with a sensor however I have one off of an old efi mariner that I want to install and hook to the light as well... I dont know why I think It would be cool. But I do.. thanks

I had a 12 red LED on the dash of my Bullet as you couldnt hear the hot buzzer @70+mph and I didnt look all the time at water pressure gauge. On yours if tied to buzzer you will get: 1) solid light if hot 2) flashing light if oil related 3) flashing light at self test
