I have a 2002 22walk proline w/200 merc/carbs, while trolling, all of the dash gauges die. The motor seems to idle fast when this happens. If I turn it off and restart, the gauges will start working again. Any thoughts???

Just a guess but could it be the key switch? Maybe the choke is shorting on it therefore higher idle more gas?

Thanks for the replys. I will check all grounds, and the key switch. I had a 26 wellcraft, one of the screws on the back (one of 5) came loose and it just quit. I had a tough time finding it. Took the access door off in the cabin and started moving wires while a friend tried the key, and found it.

It sounds like a voltage regulator problem to me. Sometimes, when there's a weak connection at the battery (check this, and replace wing-nuts wit nylon lock washers), the voltage regulator can get damaged. I'm willing to bet my left-over turkey that your problem will be one of these two things.
