I just put a rebuilt powerhead on this joker. Got it together, and it is not pumping water, DARN IT! I removed the lower and it seemed in order, the impeller was good.
I pressure wased the block before assembly, passages looked ok.
I removed the lower unit and stuck the garden hose on the pick up tube. Water flow to the thermostat (both sides) with the thermostat removed. I removed the brass plug above cylinder #1 and no water came out. Water is exiting the motor through the cowling fitting (peeing).
Any ideas?
