I replaced the impeller on my motor about three months ago. Recently, I dredged up lot of mud while running a little too shallow. The pee hole was clogged, but after running some heavy fishing line through the hole, the water was coming out as good as ever. The next trip out I had no problems but yesterday, the water flow was a little weak. At the end of the day while pulling back to the dock, I heard what I'm guessing was a heat alarm and the pee hole water was just dribbling out. I don't have any experience with enging mechanics, but is there some simple things I can do on my own to try to resolve this problem before I bring the boat to a mechanic? Thanks for the help.
