I have an electrical gremlin on the helm rocker switch control panel sometimes certain things work other times they don't it just depends on the day wanting to know if there is a fuse panel behind this rocker switch panel on the helm?
Thats exactly what I'm going to do great advice thank youI have had this with my Martinique. I had to pull the connectors off the switches one at a time and spray with contact or electrical motor cleaner and replace them back on the proper blade. Give them each a wiggle and see if they work intermittently. Most likey just a dirty connection.
Trying to find out if you had to remove the dash to access all of the switches?Thats exactly what I'm going to do great advice thank you
Chief did you have to pull the dash to gain access to the switches?I have had this with my Martinique. Thanks for the info good to know before starting. My panel screws out on my Martinique 3600. Some models are held in by Christmas tree looking fasteners or spring clips. some rockers have to be individually wiggled out one by one. can the be reached from under dash? Different year make and models of boats used different instrument panels. yes, I have had to cut holes in fiberglass to access wiring harnesses and add deck plates, glove boxes speakers or making upholstered panels to cover access areas where they placed infrastructure without considering how to access things when they fail.
just remember to figure out how to hide your hole before cutting and making sure not to snag hoses or wires or structural supports.
